Your Discovery Place is an
institution that offers a holistic approach to building the immediate family
unit through job training, literacy, housing, total familial involvement and life
skills counseling, while removing some life issues by providing temporary housing and childcare
services while enrolled in the program.
- Is there really a
need for Your Discovery Place?
Yes! Through our life
experiences we have seen how societal influences can have dire effects on
people and their community. These societal influences have an impact on the
family structure that can be passed down through generations. This impact can break
down the family structure and prevent the family and community from growing in
a positive manner. Without an institution, like Your Discovery Place, the
community will continue to deplete and by no means be able to flourish.
- Will Your Discovery
Place have a severe impact on its surrounding community?
Yes, in a very positive way. Not
only will it be encouraging to the people of the community to get involved so
that they may also become self-sufficient but it will present opportunities for
local jobs.
- Will Your Discovery Place be
affordable to every man and woman?
Your Discovery Place will exhaust
all channels to find financial aid for those who are not able to pay for our
institution/program out of pocket.

new development, do you already have the expertise necessary
to provide the training, childcare and development that you claim?
Yes! Our founders and
assistants specialize in EVERY aspect of the institution. We have, combined, 65+
years experience and expertise in daycare/childcare, education, adult literacy,
cosmetology, construction, real-estate and life skills counseling. Also, let’s
not forget the passion that follows each and every one of our founders and assistants.
